The lockdown is helping to overcome the health risk the country faces. However, only by ending the lockdown can we address the economic, social, and quality of life challenges.
As we begin to come into the next phase, lifting the restrictions, it is paramount that we adhere to strict social distancing, providing our work colleagues and everyone that visits our establishments with a safe environment.
One product that can give early detection of people entering buildings and/or public spaces who are exhibiting symptoms of the virus is a Thermal Imaging Camera which is a vital tool in the detection of elevated body temperature which may indicate the presence of a fever, a symptom of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The current process employed by many companies is using a handheld infrared thermometer to measure temperature. The problem with doing this is that you have to get very close to a person who is potentially infected and therefore the risk of the virus being transferred is very high. It also takes a very long time to process many people entering the building.
Thermal Imaging Cameras are faster, highly accurate, and able to measure the temperature of a group of people at a time.
